Supporting and Retaining Great Teachers

I will advocate for improved teacher working conditions, sustainable schedules, and competitive salaries that reflect the rising cost of living. When teachers are supported and respected, students succeed. Strong schools depend on strong educators.

Strong Public Schools Through Community Voice and Choice

As both a parent and an educator, I believe choice in schools matters, but public schools must be a great choice for every family. I will work to strengthen Duval County’s public schools while representing every voice in District 2. I am committed to inclusive decision-making through monthly informal, open-to-the-public workshops so families, educators, and community members can help shape solutions together.

Fiscal Responsibility, Transparency, and Accountability

I am committed to a transparent, fiscally responsible budget with strong oversight of public funds. This includes ensuring accountability for the Step-Up Scholarship dollars so public education funding is protected and prioritized for our public schools. Taxpayers deserve to know how education dollars are spent and to trust that funds serve public school students and classrooms first.
